"Crypto traders have a proclivity for risk-taking and a lack of impulse control," commented Rachel Goldberg, LMFT, PMH-C. "They are lured in by the promise of quick rewards but stay for the highs and lows, which are similar to addiction. There is a dopamine effect when doing well that brings a high and a desire for more of it. Unfortunately, there are also losing days that bring on very low lows. The allure of getting back that (dopamine) high keeps traders in the game, despite ultimately often giving back any gains."

“This study highlights that individuals on psychiatric medications who used GLP-1s tended to disproportionately experience suicidal ideation,” Goldberg continued. “This could suggest that GLP-1s may impact how psychiatric medications work, potentially reducing their effectiveness and leading to persistent thoughts that might not have occurred otherwise.”

It boosts mood and helps alleviate anxiety, depression and stress. Physiologically, exercise increases endorphins, which are feel-good neurotransmitters that also can improve sleep quality and reduce the stress hormone cortisol.

Though attachment style is often presented as fixed, in reality, it is possible to change your style.

The pain can also be intensified if it comes with feelings of rejection, abandonment, and/or loneliness.

Another common cause is an unresolved issue that you may not be aware of consciously. “Perhaps you had a tiff with their partner, and although you both apologized and hugged before parting ways, there may still be unresolved feelings from the argument,”

Some patients experience SAD in the summer—known as summer seasonal depression or reverse SAD. Summer SAD symptoms include insomnia, decreased appetite, weight loss, or violent and/or aggressive behavior.

It's why anxious attachers “may appear clingy, jealous, or over-controlling; however, to the anxiously attached person, it’s a way to cope with very uncomfortable emotions”

“Goldberg added that the other partner's offerings can be likened to a drug that has addictive properties.”
